Conveniently display computer info on your desktop.

This is a very convenient tip that will not only help you but will help those individuals that work on your computer. It is called backinfo.exe and is part of a windows development pack. This little executable will reside in your C:\windows or C:\winnt folder along with a configuration file. Simply create a shortcut to the executable in your startup folder and you will see the results everytime you login.

I have displayed the computer name, number of processors and their speed, total ram, domain, ip address, and login date/time.
